
BABY CONSTIPATION

Step 1. Lay bub down​

Place bub on back.
Imagine that 12 o'clock is at the top of the tummy and 6 o'clock towards the groin area.​​
Step 2. Calm bub
​​
Use your fingertips to gently circle bub's head, while maintaining eye contact.​​
Step 3. Ready your hands​
​​
Rub a coin sized amount of baby oil on your palm to create heat, especially around the fingertips.
Step 4. Tummy Rub​
​​​
Place your right hand across bub's tummy and gently move down towards the groin area before lifting hand.
Step 5. Slip n Slide​
​​
Firmly and gently, place your thumbs together on the center of bub's tummy and slide your hands towards the waist.
Step 6. Sun motion​
​​​
Find the 7 o'clock position with the palm of your left hand and rub in a circle around the tummy, ending back at 7o'clock.

Step 7. Crescent Moon​
​​​
With your right hand, start at 12 o'clock and move around the stomach, ending at 6 o'clock.
Step 8. Combine motions​
​​
Perform both the 'sun and moon' motions together with both hands.
Step 9. Relax bub's tummy​
​​​
Hold bubs ankles and gently bounce them up and down.
Step 10. Back and forth​
​​​
Gently press the knees towards the tummy and hold for counts of five. Go back and forth. Repeat a few times.
Step 11. Soothe bub​
​​​
Place both palms on bubs tummy for a few moments and end with a cuddle.
